America is a land based off of Christianity. Although Article 7 in the Civil rights  states the right to freedom of religion. But there is still discrimination all around in society. The past has allowed us Americans  to judge people based off our religion.
Religion should be separate from the workplace. Although  employer’s do have the right to be excused for religious practice. However there are certain things that need to be taken  into consideration when  hiring a potential employee.  You cannot  choose to hire an employee based on there religious status. It is important to take employee’s religion into account when making certain decisions. For example the worker may have to take time after lunch to pray to their god, or take days off to serve his or her god. The employer needs to accommodate needs for practice. Relaxing dress codes. The re is a lot to take into consideration. Some employers  discriminate on certain religions.
For example after 911 Muslims have been discriminated against and been treated like criminals. This goes against the civil rights act . The employers come up with ridiculous excuses of to why This shouldn’t  happen at all. If the  have the same skill level as any other worker why should they get discriminated against. This will continue until individuals can accept that our country Is diverse and we have freedom so that also means freedom of religion....
