      USA World Bank (UWB) is a major international and domestic bank servicing both commercial and consumer sectors. UWB has been successful in developing new products in the United States; however the objective for this organization is to develop new products which in return would increase profits and expansion in the market share. As the scenario clearly shows, UWB’s product development team is having conflicting ideas on which product would bring most international and domestic success to the organization. The author of this paper will develop and identify a solution for UWB’s scenario as well as present the measurable end-state goals.
      Situation Analysis
Issue and Opportunity Identification
      The issues and opportunities UWB is facing are due to the yearly challenge of producing, launching and implementing a new product. UWB’s goal is to develop a profitable new credit card that will increase its market shares. However, senior management presents two options for this year’s product launch, a consumer credit card and a small business credit card. The small business credit card research is considered unreliable due to glitches in the research methods and measurement, meanwhile the consumer credit card concept has a reliable and valid source of research. In addition, management is unable to support strategic decisions. UWB depends solely on an outside company, Best Market, for consumer and statistical information.
