Article: Community Relations: What Motivates Stakeholders (Timothy Berger)
           This article discussed how to make stakeholders more motivated and take an active role in getting projects accomplished. In this case the project dealt with a power plant and how it affected the community that it was going to be built in. By applying the concepts from this article to the Z-Wing scenario, Z-Wing’s management can learn some valuable lessons. One lesson results from the different types of stakeholders and the different methods needed to motivate them. This depends on the role that the stakeholder plays in the overall situation. For Z-Wing knowing how the employees as stakeholders will react and what they need is just as important as knowing what the company’s customers want and need. Z-Wing’s employees are active stakeholders whereas the customer is a passive stakeholder. The employees need to see the benefit of the project and take ownership in this. By making the project its own they will be more motivated and dedicated to seeing it completed.

         Strategy implementation can be improved when using strategy mapping techniques.
