1.1Background to the organisation

The business
Im restaurant & café established in October 2005 (the word ‘Im’ in Thai means full, happy stomach), is a medium size establishment specialising in serving Thai cuisine family style with home cooked flavours and a service to match. Located in the booming, and rapidly expanding at shop 1115, Main St of Westfield shopping centre Helensvale on the Gold Coast, the restaurant can seat up to 90-100 seats and also offered a profitable take-out operation. The service will be relaxed, very friendly and correct combining with the restaurant’s simple modern style décor, makes dining at restaurant Im a whole new experience that hard to forget.

1.2 Organisation Goal

The company's goal is built on principles of making quality product and providing reliable services. The first responsibility is to the financial well-being of the restaurant. Then will meet this goal while trying to consider;
1.    Determine to grow by following trends, improving the restaurant’s product and service standards
2.    The creation of a unique and innovative atmosphere will differentiate us from the competition. The restaurant will stand out from the other Thai restaurants in the area because of the unique design and decor.
