ABSTRACT
This report will discuss the internal resource and strategic capability of the VSM Group and will discuss how the current strategic capability supports the long term strategy. An examination of the resources, competencies and competitive advantage of the VSM Group follows and the author draws conclusions on how adequate and suitable these are in supporting the current long term strategy.
An internal resource audit, value chain analysis and competency matrix have been applied in order to conduct strategic analysis. They are displayed with other supporting evidence in the appendices at the rear of the document.
