I have nearly 20 years work experience, 15 years in Operations as Unit Head (Depot Manager) in Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC), and 5 years sourcing experience as Deputy Chief Mechanical Engineer (Chassis & Bodies) in APSRTC.

As Deputy Chief Mechanical Engineer I was in charge of procurement wing of Chassis and Bus Bodies. I used to call, negotiate and finalize tenders for both chassis and bus bodies worth Rs. 250 crores per annum. During my tenure I have procured more than 6000 buses (Ashok Leyland and TATA) and 100 VOLVO buses. Contract Management and Vendor Management are part and parcel of my responsibilities. I have managed 25 existing vendors for bus bodies besides developing 15 new vendors.
In 2007, I wrote GMAT and got a score of 720. Subsequently I got a seat in IPMX, (International Program in Management for Executives) the one year fully residential Program of IIM – Lucknow at Noida Campus and joined the Program in April 2008.
