Unit 1 Individual Project - Statistical Analysis

I have recently been selected to participate in a massive global undertaking with the company American Intellectual Union (AIU).  The company has assembled a team of researchers in the United States and around the world to study job satisfaction.  The study will require that we take a look and examine acquired data, analyze the results, and share the results with groups of other researchers in an effort to better understand what affects job satisfaction with employees of companies.  We will take surveys of our selected candidates in an effort to understand how well job satisfaction can motivate an individual to succeed at their job of employment.  We understand that job satisfaction is important to companies because it provides managers with all the insight needed to understand the working relationships they hold with their fellow employees when dealing with this issue.
    I have chosen to use the data from Extrinsic Job Satisfaction column to base my analysis on.  This data will be extracted from 31 different individuals in an attempt to better understand how outside job influences affect employees when it comes to job satisfaction.  Some of the external factors which affect job satisfaction are office location, working with colleagues, your own office space, your work hours, training provided by the company itself and opportunities for job advancement.  This data when analyzed should enlighten the management teams as to how things can be improved and in what direction the company is going in (Sullivan III, 2004).
