                  Enterprise does not display a typical marketing structure. It considers its sales and marketing departments with equal importance. Enterprise produced an outline of instructions to better integrate the sales and marketing departments within the company. The outline is comprised of eight key factors that attribute to the structure and cohesiveness of the two teams and is then broken down into methods of how to best utilize the eight steps.              The first step is addressing the mission. The goal is that Enterprise’s corporate mission as well as the mission’s of each the marketing and sales teams are communicated and comprehended, among the teams, in order to better connect these two teams. Next, orientation is crucial in order to jointly work to achieve the set goals of each team. Communicating and informing each team about the other will help establish effective and efficient work among them and improve the overall results of each department. Enterprise encourages team efforts between marketing and sales to add to the success and development of the teams. Furthermore, incorporating management support instills value and importance to the success of marketing and sales. The marketing and sales teams separately might not have thought to collaborate, but through management support it becomes an accepted and encouraged behavior.
