Introduction
    The Boeing Corporation not only provides commercial airline services, but also integrated defense systems. Corporate functions include: business development and strategy, operations and technology, communications, human resources/administration, engineering, finance, international operations, law, and public policy. With over 160,000 employees in 70 countries, governing these functions from the Chicago headquarters can become an overwhelming task (Boeing, 2008). Creating a solid business development and strategy will set any business, including Boeing, in the right path to success.
Management
    Stakeholders of the Boeing Corporation include customers, employees, shareholders, and communities. By vesting employees into the company as stakeholders, the Boeing Corporation receives dedicated, loyal, and performance-driven management at all levels. The management model for Boeing is a successful method for planning, analyzing, acting, and controlling results. Training and educating all employees within the organization is defined by the management model and is a priority for Boeing.     Financial objectives are designed to move Boeing toward world-class margins, earnings, and cash is linking to growth, customer service, productivity, and competitiveness. Financial performance and economic profit links to employee accountability and stock price. If planning efforts are on track and operating as designed, shareholders, employees, customers, and communities will remain profitable as in the past (Boeing Corporation, 2007).
