The One

The title of my book is Black Boy. The author of my book is Richard    Wright. The book was originally published by Harper & Bros.    The book was published in 1945.       The protagonist was Richard Wright. The antagonist was society    mainly because this book was written during a very racist    time period. The confidant was Richards mother Ella Wright.       The setting of the story was in Natchez, Mississippi. The    time period was in 1908.       The narrator of the story was Richard Wright himself. He told    the story in first person.       The characters in the story are alike. The black characters    are alike because they are all going through the same struggle    to be equal and survive the hard times of the racist south.       The major problem of the story was that when Richard was four    years old he burned down the house by playing with fire and    letting it hit the curtains. His father got tired of putting    up with things such as this so he left to live with another woman.    This meant, Richards mother was going to go through hard timed    because Nathan (the father) brought in all the money. So Richard    is growing up in a poor household with his other siblings during    a racist era which is the conflict. He is really tested growing    up trying to be the strong courageous man his mother knows    he can be.       R ...
