The Level Of Difficult

I am currently enrolled ULC 148; that is Algebra and Trigonometry.  This is my favorite class because math is my favorite subject.  My grades in that class tend to be very consistent. My lowest grade was an eighty seven and my highest grade was a ninety four. But recently I took a test that was harder than usual, it was on logs. I never understood logs, so I knew I was not going to have another consistent grade.  When I received the test back I got a sixty eight. I was upset that I received this grade. So I decided to talk to my professor to discuss my grade.
On Monday, November 10th I stayed after class to discuss my grades with my professor. I introduced myself, but it turns out she knew who I was. She told me that I could have done so much better on that test. She said that grade surprised her because I am usually an A- B+ student. I explained to her that in high school I never understood logs, and this is why I did not do well on the test. I asked her was there any way that I can bring up my grade. She told me that there was a way I can drop my lowest test grade. She said that on December 10th there is an optional finial that I can take. She said I didn’t need to take it before I received this grade, because I was doing so well in the class. But now I should consider taking the final, because this test would lower my final grade.  I told her that I would take the final exam.  Then I thanked her for everything and left.
Well this was the meeting with my professor, and she was extremely nice and helpful. So I am going to take that final to bring my grade up. Hopefully I do well.  This assignment was a good way for me to talk to my professors and find out that they really are helpful people....
