The LANs is suggested to apply to connect employees in our company. In order to build a prefect network we need some hardware like Server, switches, network interface, router and several personal computers. Moreover; some software are needed to run our daily business. For management component we need professional client/server software for task management and team collaboration. All users can simultaneously access the common database through LANs to add, edit and delete their team or personal tasks. Also, calendar/scheduling software is implemented at two levels: manager and users. The each user maintains his own calendar, and Workgroup manager can manage all calendars. For ordering component, we need intranet program, ordering and point of sale software. Intranet program is designed to provide information and various features such as products feedback for our customers. The intranet reduce the workload of helpdesk. Customers do not need to ask helpdesk instead of checking products information online. Feedback allow us to provide better service for our customers. We have bikes ordering system worked well and it is easy for the organizers to deliver the bikes to the customers as the system will display the address. Point of sale software is important for keeping track of how many bikes and its components we have sold and which items; on the other hand, it requires hand written report otherwise. Our networking tools include secret system which is used to prevent our LANs from being attacked by hackers. For example, the networking scanner is used to ping every computers in the network and report illegally infection to managers. Moreover, network interface card, switches and router are all network tools in LANs.
