Stop Attrition

Problem
Attrition of knowledgeable senior staff members has plagued my company for the past two years.  With the experienced members leaving the team our department is way behind schedule on completing their tasks and meeting company objectives.  
Opportunity
We have the opportunity to turn this problem around and to keep the individuals that are educated in the business practices of our department.
Operation Definition and Constructs
The most likely reasons for attrition would be the lack of benefits, incentives, or pay.  It appears that 95% employees usually stay at least 5 years while 80% stay 5 to 10 years and less than 50% stay longer than 10 years.  From this I have constructed three different groups to consider.
1.    Less than 5 years
2.    5 to 10 years
3.    10+ years
Units of Measure
The same units of measure would be used by each group to determine what keeps each group satisfactorily employed.   In the next chart, Table 1, you will see the management question hierarchy used to determine the satisfaction of each employee in each of the groups mentioned above.  It is my belief that as time goes on perception of the benefits, pay, and incentives change.
