Edward de Bono is a psychologist, physician and writer; he is most famous for his concept on lateral thinking and six hats thinking. He is a well educated and gifted thinker who has spent much of his life teaching individuals, organizations, corporations, and government bodies how to think efficiently. The concept, lateral thinking, was first introduced in his book, The Use of Lateral Thinking, published in 1967. He later developed the concept of Six Hats thinking which was published in his book, The Six Thinking Hats, in 1985.
