Duty based ethic question #1: From an ethical point of view, how can these teammates learn to work together, especially since Donna appears to be very duty based and Michael does not?
Team response: Both will need to work on increasing their communication skills. Michael needs to learn to be more professional while Donna needs to be more compassionate with Michael. Establishing good ground rules is going to be important for these two to work together.
Duty based ethic question #2: Because she believes it is wrong to lie, how might Stephanie handle this situation? Why should she or why should she not go along with her teammates?
Team response: Ethically she should confront the team and let them know she will not lie for her friend. She should not go along with her team because it is against her principles and she does not believe in lying. Both the team-member and the team in general do not have the right to ask her to do something that she believes is wrong.
Goal based ethic question #1: How is Corin's attitude and lack of willingness to work impacting the good of the whole team?
Team response: It is bringing down the moral and spirit of the team. It is creating negative atmosphere for the team to complete their work and meet their goals. A team needs to work together to succeed and can only be as good as their weakest link.
