Situational Analysis
Provide a brief summary of the situation and issues involved in this case study.
Problem Statement
Riordan Manufacturing need to improve their employee compensation plan and increase morale while implementing structure within departments in order to reverse the trend of declining sales and low productivity for the organization.
End State Vision
Within six months Riordan should be able to adapt a viable strategy of having the best approach to creating an employee friendly atmosphere that increases productivity and departmental structure that will incorporates positive compensation plan for the employees.
Stakeholders analysis
Michael Riordan is the CEO of Riordan and is the number one primary stake holder. Since he owns 80% of the company he has a vested interest in seeing the company develop and grow. He wants to reinvest into the corporation and is currently fearful of the direction his company is going.
The Employees are the secondary stakeholders who are very much interested in seeing the company grow however they are also looking out for their self interests. The HR department is in desperate need of structure and direction not to mention empowerment from Michael Riordan.
