Introduction
The topic I’m going to discuss in this report is “RFID will revolutionize the operation of companies”. Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) is a wireless technology which uses radio signals allowing electronic identification and object labeling. This technology has been recognized many years ago. In recent years, the value of RFID has been found out because of the widespread use of the information network and fast development of chip technical. The basic application of RFID is in mass transportation and security. It has been expended into the management of supply chain, such as in franchise stores, supermarket and car industry. After the maturity of RFID technology, the operation of business will meet a technological revolution.
In the modern business, it is difficult to select and collect data without an effective system. RFID can help to change the uncontrollable business process into controllable and collect data easier in the confused manner of business. This technology works with an organization's information technology infrastructure and assists the tracking of objects, such as inventory, in order to improve business processes.
