The Organization Apeal
The internet makes it possible for anyone searching for employment easier. It helps introduce new companies to those who are looking for the right fit. One such company is AAFES (Army Air Force Exchange Service) They are located all over the world, their slogan is “We Go Where You Go” this is a company that I very much admire and have tried on numerous occasion to become a part of. They say that it is the best well kept secret in the world. Most people outside of the Military are unaware that it exists. In fact, I first stumbled upon it through a friend whose family worked there. She gave me the web site and told my husband and myself to do the research so after going to the web site (www.aafes.com) we both learned that this would be a good organization to work with and to work for. AAFES works with the Military to supply what little home comforts one can use. They travel with the soldiers and set up PX’s where ever there are needed. They help keep them connected to home and they do it all with-out drawling attention to their self’s. The employees work to make sure that others have what they need whether it’s clothing or just that small chocolate bar they are craving. They work daily, weekly, yearly hand-and-hand with those suppliers to bring these creature comforts. Everything they do in the different departments help support our troops and reserves in what they do.
