The following is a proposal to improve marketing and increase advertisting of the Newburgh Recreational Camp. It focuses on the need for, and the benefits to be expected from, instituting an improved marketing strategy. Additionally, it will propose possible improvements, which were retrieved through analyzing current strategies employed by other programs such as methods for implementation and the consequental benefits. I believe that this alteration would not only solve the problem at hand, but also create a tremendous opportunity for growth. Effective marketing has the power to increase camper enrollment and thus profits, and to solidify a camp's social and financial standing in a community.
I am proposing that the Newburgh Recreational Camp improve marketing strategies and increase advertisting for their program. Considering the large decrease in camper enrollment over the past season, I feel that these steps are necessary in order to maintain a successful program.
