This analysis is about Global Communications, a Company that is facing economic problems caused by many market competition and new products offered by different types of segments that influence their market as well. This is how the Company is planning to solve these situations and keep up with grown and profits as well as some new ideas that can help on see the future for this company.

Issue and Opportunity Identification
The Senior Leadership Team of Global Communications identified that they were in the middle of a market with many competition, where local, long distance and international markets are being disputed by many companies. The cable companies came into their market with new technology and strategy that made them lose sales volume and with that their revenues and profits. To solve that issue, they developed two aggressive approaches: Start new services to small business and consumer customers, doing alliances with satellite providers to provide video services and satellite broadband and cost-cutting measures to improve profitability by being aggressive at international markets to become a global resource.
These solutions caused other issues that weren’t handled well by the same Leadership Team. With these actions, they caused layoff of a big number of employees and cut off of 10% of salaries for the others that were reallocated. The Senior Leadership Team tried to solve that issue creating new sets of values and new communication plans, and careers counselors to help these employees.
