Problem Solution: Foundation Schools
Being the largest provider of special needs education, Foundation Schools ranks number one in the United States. Although you can only find them in three cities in California, they are the world leader in special needs programming. The administrators and staff are strongly dedicated to an approach geared towards life skills and their success has enabled many students to find jobs, live independently of themselves in group homes and has been attributed from their life teaching skills. It‘s not unusual for directors of other special needs schools to request visitation for the purpose of observation and wisdom, and to subsequently model their own schools on Foundation‘s approach to learning and development (Scenario: The Foundation Schools, 2009).
In order for Foundation Schools to successfully implement any project, there needs to be a process in order to get the plan from idea to fruition. The following plan details a simple yet thorough process for project implementation that satisfies Foundation Schools mission and its strategic growth plan. Foundation Schools must be open to change and have the resources or the know how to implement the changes.
Through the implementation process, Foundation Schools does not have a solid plan that will prepare them for their projects. They need to be able to sell the idea of new software to the staff that will allow them to stay strong in their financial arena and maintain their educational success. These challenges can hinder the success of the school and even prolong the project.
