     Through researching about Starbuck’s organizational behavior concepts it became blatantly clear that the genius of Starbucks is the way they choose to implement the use of motivation, organizational culture and organizational structure within their business. It is completely genius and has completely revamped the standards for organizational behavior for companies here in the United States and other various countries. This is precisely one of the many reasons the company has had such renowned success across the world.  
     “The public explanation as to why Starbucks is so successful, as suggested by Howard Schultz, who with David Olsen acquired Starbucks in 1987 from its founders, is that the company is absolutely dedicated to brewing the best cup of coffee in the world” ( Plog, 2005). This is from the consumer stand point, if you ask what motivates the employees to be dedicated to serving the “best cup of coffee in the world” (Plog, 2005), they will probably tell you some of the amazing benefits of working for such a name. One quality that sets Starbucks above the average business is that this company sees its employees as partners rather than employees.
“The efforts made by staff to implement our distinctive service culture has been the cornerstone of our success," said Thomas Hahn, general manager for Starbucks Coffee Concept (Hong Kong). "We call them partners since we recognize the importance of teamwork and regard it as something indispensable for business growth”. ( Luk, 2006)
