Philosophy Of Education

A balanced philosophy of education involves striving for a student to master all subjects. This centers around a teachers effective planning and presentation of the various subject areas. By using many different techniques, can an educator be confident that their students have the ability to achieve their goal. Each student is unique and therefore teaching styles must be unique. In order for the student to have a high success rate the educator should know each student’s learning style, discovering and utilizing this style is what makes teaching an art and skill. I believe that the best way to ensure every student is reached is to use various techniques in daily lessons. Students in today’s education experience need extra attention and support.  This can be done many ways from simply writing directions on the board to providing extra time and assistance with a student after school.  A student’s success should be the educator’s number one priority with all priorities to follow.   

Information presented to students must be relevant to the students life, engaging to the student, and meet the students learning style. Students should recognize the significance behind each lesson, and feel that they will need each piece of information, not only in the next class, but for the rest of their lives. Many subjects taught today are easily adaptable to becoming hands-on, such as math and science. Other subjects such as language arts can be hands-on with modest innovation.
