Personal Perspective Paper
The University of Phoenix has established a very technologically advanced online learning environment for students pursuing an MBA degree. From my perspective the learning system developed by the University and its Instructors is far superior to the typical lecture class. The resources available are easily adaptable to any students learning ability and will optimize knowledge retention. I will offer my perspective on the value of three resources within the University of Phoenix learning system which are rEsource, learning teams and problem-based learning.
The Value of rEsource
The value of rEsource throughout my studies at the University of Phoenix will be astonishing. There are many exceptional areas of rEsource that will be very helpful, one of which is the University Library that has a vast collection of books, databases and company financial information online at my fingertips. The "ask the librarian" feature in the library will become ever more important in the future classes to help navigate the vast amount of information located in the library. Another area of rEsource will be very helpful is the "Center for Writing Excellence", the "WritePoint" feature, which offers an automated review of papers submitted in a matter of minutes providing feedback on basic grammar, usage, and some formatting issues. In the "Center for Writing Excellence" I will take advantage of the "Plagiarism Checker" to review all papers which will ensure that the paper contains all original material and that all work is cited properly.
