The next step is to develop possible solutions. Once the problem has been confirmed, resolutions need to be developed that can alleviate the problem. The group environment lends to developing an adequate list of alternative solutions, which will be described later.

The third step is choosing the most reasonable solution. It is the point at which all alternative solutions are weighed and chosen based on what is most practical and feasible for a particular organization.

The fourth step is implementation. This is the step that the chosen solution is implemented. In other words, the solution as defined by the stakeholders will be put into action.

Once it is implemented, the final step, evaluation of solution, can be completed. An evaluation is performed to verify the solution is working as designed.
