Primary Management Functions
As indicated by Balkin and Gomez-Mejia, the four primary management functions are
Planning and Strategizing, Organizing, Leading and Controlling. Each function requires specific skills, such as strategic-related, task-related, people-related and self-awareness skills, in order to be properly executed. Each management position within Kudler Fine Foods’ is expected to utilize each function and each skill accordingly while continuing to reassess the Kudler Fine Food’s SWOT analysis.
Kudler Fine Foods’ managerial team consists of strategic, tactical and operational managers. In a successful company as Kudler Fine Foods, all departments and levels of management work together towards innovation and competitive advantage. President, Kathy Kudler along side Director of Finances and Accounting, Harvey Stephens, Director of Store Operations, Yvonne Reynolds and Director of Administration and Human Resources, Brenda Wagner together make Kudler Fine Foods’ strategic managerial team.
