Organizational behavior is the study of human behavior at the individual, group and organizational level. The primary purpose of this unit is to develop an understanding of the management of modern organizations through knowledge of human behavior, an understanding of both within the organization (superiors, equals & subordinates) and outside the organization (customers, suppliers and competitors). Organizational Behavior is a unique field of study in that it draws upon a diverse range of disciplines, including psychology, social psychology, sociology, anthropology, political science and economics, for a systematic and integrated approach to the study of human behavior.
