Organizing Paper
The organize function of management within the company I work for is done by the owner. I am in control of the organization functions that I perform to complete a project. The two main focuses I want to elaborate on are the physical assets needs to start and finish projects, and the knowledge behind work you will be doing. I am choosing these areas of focus, because in the construction industry these features are a necessity to the company. The old saying is, it takes money to make money and for a small business this is very true. "A new term has entered the business vocabulary: diseconomies of scale, or the costs of being too big. In the construction industry there are many companies that stay relatively small. Their concept has allowed individuals to excel in an area of expertise. These companies are able to focus more on the customer satisfaction and the precision of products delivered to the customer.
Smaller companies can move fast, can provide quality goods and services to targeted market niches, and can inspire greater involvement from their people. Nimble, small firms frequently outmaneuver big bureaucracies. They introduce new and better products, and they steal market share.
