    In recent years the modern organization has undergone a change, or transformation due to the influence of industrial/organizational psychology.  Organizations are transitioning from being a traditional organizational model to a transformed organizational model.  What this means is that due to the research of industrial/organizational psychology, organizations are acknowledging and incorporating developments that will improve all aspects of the organization such as operations, recruiting and employee satisfaction through industrial/organizational psychology.
    The organization that I chose to review is Elkarri.  Elkarri is the social movement for dialogue and agreement in the Basque Country. It was born in 1992 to defend and mobilize the model of a peaceful and dialogue solution to the Basque conflict. Its mission is to contribute to the peace process. It is a plural, independent organization consisting of 3,000 members, with 100 local workshops in the towns and suburbs of the Basque Autonomous Community and Navarre, and also in Madrid, Barcelona and Brussels. Eight hundred active voluntary members work in elkarri. It is 85% self-funded.  Elkarri has recently revealed that they are planning to transform organizationally to a modern business model.
