Organizational Behavior Terminology and Concepts
The term” business model” is thrown around casually in today’s society. A business model is needed in order to become incorporated or apply for a loan, but why is that? Why do regulatory entities, such as these, place so much value in a business plan? A business plan encompasses a number of ideas or qualities having to do with the company. Things such as: organizational behavior and culture, diversity, communication, ethics, and management’s view on change are typically outlined. With these necessities accounted for, an idea can be formed about the business and the business’s chances at success.
Thesis Statement
This paper will review and expound on the above-mentioned topics, in relation to VISTA Staffing Solutions.
Organizational Behavior
Organizational behavior is difficult to plan out ahead of time. Organizational behavior deals with the behaviors of a group of individuals in the same organization. Trying to understand one individual is all but impossible, so adding more people into the mix only complicates matters further. Each person brings with them his/her own history, ideas, thoughts, and personality. As they come together and form a group, the group takes on a behavior of its own. The team builds a history, shared experiences, communication, and common ideals establish a pattern (Wikipedia, 2008).
