EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

Susan Meredith was hired at a satellite company located in British Columbia and based out of Toronto. Susan has a university degree in Business Administration and 20 years of customer relations experience.  Susan failed to do her job research before starting her job of matching her credentials and salary expectations. Susan grew unhappy with her job due to stress and a dissatisfying compensation which she disclosed without any consideration to her co-worker. This was an unforbidden topic to discuss with others which was enforced by the boss, Mr. James.   

Susan's defiance of policy led to her feelings of underrewarded inequity by finding that her comparison other, Helen who worked at the Head office in Toronto was being paid more for a less demanding job.
