Introduction
For my introduction I’d like to refer to a slide show by David Duarte which he showed at the ‘Reshaping Media’ conference in Cape Town during 2007. The slide stated that, according to Richard Riley (former secretary of education) the top ten jobs in demand in 2010 would not have existed in 2004. It goes further by saying one of every eight U.S couples met online. Myspace has 106 million registered users which will make it the 11th biggest ‘country’ in the world. The amount of text messages sent daily is more than the population of the planet. It is predicted that in the near future e-paper will be cheaper to buy than real paper, in 2013 a supercomputer will be created which exceeds the computation capability of the human brain and in 2049 a computer that will exceed the computation capability of the human race!
