EXPLANATION ON WHY AND HOW MONITORING AND EVALUATION OF OPERATIONS ARE CARRIEDOUT
Monitoring and Evaluation
Monitoring and evaluation are systematic key aspect tools for measuring performance of an implemented operation in a project (Rdi, 2004).
Monitoring pays attention at the aim improving the project’s design and functionality of an operation (The World Bank Group, 2008). The creation of customer satisfaction has to be met by organizations by proving adequate customer service. Customer satisfaction can principally be met through provision of products or service requested on acceptable specification, cost and timing. The utilization intensity of resources serves as one monitor of performance as well as the value of productivity output per employee. In performance management and management control two measures that can be exercised can be the actual behavior of the system compared with requested standards to provide control. The output control can also serve as a measure to the system so-that it can be controlled.
Evaluation
Evaluation is concerned with measuring the relative worthiness of operations control. Two forms of measures for cost and benefits in this instance are the use of behavior control for providing the management with control. The use of output control in output controls measures and also compared with standards so that the system can be controlled. Performance audit can also be achieved by evaluating processes such as operations structure, capacity management designs and customer interfaces. Along evaluation process, the improvements of activities can be achieved benchmarking technique of comparing performance amongst organizations and continual improvement in system performa ...
