Dear Classmates:
Thank you for your patience and understanding. Let me first apologize for your receiving this notification regarding the trip to Mexico in the form of a memo.
Do to circumstances beyond my control I have to inform that the trip to Mexico has unfortunately been cancelled. Do to unfortunate events surrounding the bus company that was hired specifically for this trip they will no longer be able to provide transportation for the trip. The company has been forced to file bankruptcy and as a result they will be unable to refund the $100 deposit that all 25 students put down.
I know that this is probably not the information that you would of chose to hear and I completely understand any negative thoughts that you may have. Although the trip is currently off, I am still currently looking into alternative options as far as transportation for the trip goes. The bus company has also offered to provide us with contact information for other bus companies that may be able to assist.
In the event that I am unsuccessful in finding other transportation options to offset any inconvenience you’ve had. I am currently looking to other options for reimbursement of your deposit. Although a monetary reimbursement would be ideal it is truly unrealistic. If you have any ideas or suggestions as to options for reimbursement or possible travel options please let me know. I am more than willing to listen and take all suggestions into consideration.
