Problem Solution: InterClean, Inc.

InterClean has several significant challenges facing its future. The following solution analysis will provide insight into the leadership, human resource systems (HRS), training, recruiting and retaining considerations. In addition, industry trends and evolving customer requirements need to be fulfilled. The following provides an analysis of the key deliverables that make up the solution. InterClean can successfully execute these deliverables by providing a clear vision and implementing a HRS.

Situation Analysis
Issue and Opportunity Identification

The most potentially volatile issue facing InterClean is how to separate fairly the current employees who will not fit or want to change roles during the transition. “Everybody knows there will be some terminations, but we need to find a way to control this kind of talk.” (University of Phoenix 2007, p. 3) Both InterClean and the employees who voluntarily or involuntarily separate have a vested interest in their reputation, credibility and professional relationships. The opportunity is to create a culture, gain the respect of the employees and ensuring a fair process for separating employees regardless of who decides to separate from whom.

Another issue comes from the employee’s uncertainty about InterClean’s intent towards their future. InterClean is evolving its strategy and retooling its workforce.
