Phase 1 Discussion Board My role in the marketing concept of this company will be to promote the products and services of our company. Part of the service of this company will be to advertise, pricing, distribution of channels, and branding of our clients products. Marketing is an organizational function and a set of processes for creating, communicating and delivering value to customers and for managing customer relationships in ways that benefit the organization and its stakeholders. The marketing concept is to satisfy all your customers, to see to all their needs and to at least meat their expectations if not surpass them. The marketing industry is a creative one and we must try to anticipate the customers’ needs and wants. How do we figure out these needs and wants? We do what is called market research in order to see what the public thinks of our client’s product. Marketing is influenced by many of the social sciences, particularly psychology, sociology and economics. Anthropology is also a small, but growing influence (Business.com). Through advertising we let the public see what your client has to offer and how it will fit in to their lives. The marketing literature is also infamous for re-inventing itself and its vocabulary according to the times and the culture. As a marketing firm we must always evaluate the needs of our clients. We must analyze those needs that the client has and try to make it one better than our competition. There is always a battle for competition with other firms.
