Abstract
The purpose of a business is to create and keep a customer. In today’s world of businesses it is becoming difficult to keep a customer’s interest in a product or service. This report will show the purpose of a marketing plan and how it is different from a Business plan. It will list and describe the various components of a marketing strategy and how this will help increase sales and determine a competitive advantage. It will also provide the relationship between a marketing plan and a marketing strategy and the importance one has to the other.
Introduction
Have you ever found yourself knowing exactly what you need to do about marketing your business... and then not doing it? Marketing is all about letting people know about the product or service you offer, and persuading them to buy or use it. And for effective marketing you have to let people know about your product or service repeatedly. This is an ongoing process that has to be modified several times as new research is revealed.
