My paper is going to be on flat panel plasma TV’s. The reason I chose to do this is because the Flat panel Plasma TV industry is booming right now. In these days it seems like you have to have the best TV, computer, and many other electronics in this world to feel good about your livelyhood. If you are stuck with just a console tv, some old computer, a VHS tape player, a cassette player, and things that are considered to be older, the world no longer revolves around you. For example if you are to walk into any place such as blockbuster, hollywood video, or any other place like that, you are not going to see a VHS tape anywhere. No more $1 movie bins that you can find VHS’s in, they seem like they just don’t exist anymore. So if you were to have an old tape player, you are not going to get a copy of any new movies that are out unless you own a DVD player. This is soon going to be true with regular DVD players. If you don’t own a Blu-ray Disc player soon, you are not going to be able to find a movie that you want. This is because the industry is so focused around the latest, and greatest, that if you are stuck in the stone ages, you are out of the loop until you conform. TV’s are just the same. If you are not ready for the HD revolution, you are going to be stuck looking at a box full of static soon. Those pricey 10 foot antenna from the 1980’s are going to be nothing more than a pricey 10 foot bird pirch by february 2009.
