A. DIMENSIONS OF QUALITY FOR GOODS
Operation
activities that relate to the creation of goods and services through the transformation of inputs into outputs.
Reliability and durability
Reliability reflects the probability of the product's failure within a specified time period, how the product will operate over a period of time. Durability is life span. It is a measure of the life of the product or the time until the first occurrence of a breakdown. When a failed product can be repaired, durability is measured by repair costs, the value of time, and inconvenience.
Conformance
Conformance is a quality dimension that is related to the manufacturing-based approach to quality.
Serviceability
Serviceability deals with speed, courtesy, and competence of repair, how easily the product is repaired.
Appearance
Appearance alludes to how a product looks
Perceived quality
Consumer's opinion of ability fulfills his or her expectations. Perceived quality is largely subjective. It is believed to be influenced by an assortment of cues and signals related to the product.

B. EC ENVIRONMENTAL STANDARD (ISO 14000)
A series of environmental management standard establish by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO)

Companies need to develop and to implement policies and objectives taking into account legal requirements and other requirements to which the organization subscribes, and information about significant environmental aspects.

The auditing from ISO 14000 helps to reduce the need for multiple audits.
3. Performance evaluation
ISO 14000 sets the standard to evaluate performance of a company for all industries.
