The need for great managers is not going away. It is intensifying. With  ‘flatter’ organizations and self-directed teams becoming common; with personal  computers and networks making information available to more people more quickly; the  raw number of managers needed is decreasing. However, the need for great managers,  people who can manage themselves and others in a high stress environment, is  leadership, as there is leadership in management. I am convinced that both the manager  and his/her managerial role as well as the chairman and his/her leadership role will be  manager that I would like to be is the organic integration of management and leadership  principles and practices in a synergetic, systematic and strategic way for the most  effective and efficient executive and administrative productivity.  To concentrate on management is to concentrate on the management of change and on  the management of resources.
