Upon opening a new business comes with it periods of trial and error that establish success and failures. The size of these failures or successes will determine the future outcome of the business. As the business and the various factors surrounding that business change over time new challenges arise. Although there are various aspects within any business new or old that creates threats and risks to be analyzed and improved upon, one of the most important part’s of the business is the management that supports the organization from the top down.

“Kudler Fine Foods will be the premiere gourmet grocery store for those savvy shoppers who are searching for the finest meats, produce, cheeses, and wine.” (University of Phoenix, 2007, p. 3) Kathy Kudler, founder of Kudler Fine Foods (KFF), reached her vision by creating an establishment that would meet this goal. Kathy made it a point to offer these services with great dedication, a great product line of fresh foods and unique items that were uneasy to find in the surrounding area. In order to run the establishment as she envisioned Kathy works seven days a week, selects and orders the products, helps stock the inventory, occasionally runs the cash register and plays a part in almost every aspect of the company.
