Interclean Inc. is aspiring to become a company that offers a full range of high quality products and services. To accomplish that, the sales team will have to adapt to fit the vision. In the following paragraphs, I will complete a job analysis, outline a workforce planning system and then select new members for the team who will complement our company’s new strategy.
Job Analysis and Selections
    Job analysis is a process to identify the skills, education level and experiences needed in a person to fill a position.  The reason we are completing an analysis is to select the new members for our sales team. In order to complete a job analysis, the decision must be made on which method to use. There are several methods commonly used by businesses and the following are the most popular: job performance, observation, interviews, critical incidents and structured questionnaires (Cascio, 2006, p. 167). The method I have chosen is job performance.
    By using job performance as an analysis method, I can use past performances to predict future performances. The job of sales executive consist mainly of selling but our company is adding a new aspect- considering the needs of the customers and providing a wide range of services. The new team we develop will consist of sales executive with sales knowledge and excellent customer service skills. To determine the best person for the job, we must look at the past results and performance in that position. Once the sales is obtained, we can shift the focus from the sale to servicing the customer on a greater level.
