“Study of effects of Inflation and other important financial issues on IT Industry”.
II. DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT IN BRIEF:
Information technology, and the hardware and software associated with the IT industry, are an integral part of nearly every major global industry. The information technology (IT) industry has become of the most robust industries in the world. IT, more than any other industry or economic facet, has an increased productivity, particularly in the developed world, and therefore is a key driver of global economic growth. Owing to its easy accessibility and the wide range of IT products available, the demand for IT services has increased substantially over the years. Thus, the study is about the IT Industry, focusing on the issue of inflation, its effects on the concerned industry, finding out of other financial issues like U.S. Economy, Indian Rupee Appreciation, Recession/ Depression, Subprime Crisis etc., that effect the performance of the IT Industry. The study would focus on the Top IT Companies and surveying of their employees to make the project lively. Some efforts would be put in to interview the Senior Officials of the IT Companies whose insights would help in making the study more effective. Along with that efforts would be made to find out the ways and measures that would minimize the negative effect of the various factors mentioned above and thus would lead to the growth of the industry.
