INDRA K Krishnamurthy. NOOYI, (born October 28, 1955 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India) 52, has served as PepsiCo's Chairman of the Board since May 2007 and Chief Executive Officer since October 2006. She was elected to PepsiCo's Board in 2001. From May 2001 until October 2006, she served as PepsiCo's President and Chief Financial Officer. She served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer from February 2000 to May 2001; Senior Vice President, Corporate Strategy and Development from 1996 until February 2000 and Senior Vice President, Strategic Planning from 1994 until 1996. Prior to joining PepsiCo, Ms. Nooyi spent four years as Senior Vice President of Strategy, Planning and Strategic Marketing for Asea Brown Boveri, Inc. She was also Vice President and Director of Corporate Strategy and Planning at Motorola, Inc.
