Personality is an individual's characteristic response across similar situation which make people different from others. There are many personality theories but the most well-known and most useful is called "Trait Theory" because this theory allows marketers to segment their market according to their own characteristic.

The most practical human trait theory is "Five factors Model" which categorize a human personality into 5 different core trait, Extroversion , Instability , agreeableness , openness to experience and conscientiousness. Extroversion is a person who prefer to be in a large group and like to communicate to others, talkative and bold while Instability is the person who always moody , touchy and temperamental. Sympathetic, kind to others and polite to others are all the characteristic of Agreeableness people. And Openness to experience is a person who high imaginative and art appreciation. Lastly, Conscientiousness is the person who is careful, precise and efficient.

Brand Personality is a method on how to place a human characteristic into a product by using both direct and indirect communication to send out the message to the audience. Moreover brand personality is also one of the useful methods on how to differentiate your brand among other competitors in the market and also a handful tool to create a brand attitude and brand loyalty as well. The key element of the brand personality is if your brand has its own brand personality which is match with the consumer's personality therefore it will create a brand attitude, brand preference and finally will create a brand loyalty as well.
