This paper will focus on the overall consideration of the Hindu practice. Hinduism is considered the oldest religion in the world and was developed around 2500 BCE. The key points that will be reached are the make-up of the general Hindu religion. The cultural and societal influences that have made Hinduism fundamental to the region in which it originated will also be touched on from this paper. The desire for liberation is also a very important topic that many have thought and pondered about in this religion.
Most people believe that Hinduism is not a religion in the standard logic, but it is a set of customs and ways of life that have evolved over a long period of time. There are diverse divisions of Hinduism, but they all esteem the ancient scriptures called Vedas. What makes up the Hindu religion are there themes, symbols, Gods, mythology, practices and philosophy. The superior God is Brahman, the complete reality, which is formless and immeasurable. For the sake of worshipping the infinite reality with the limited human minds, Gods had been personified and associated with different attributes. The majority worshipped Hindu deities are as follows; Kali, Aditi, Ambika, Durga, Ganesha, Shiva, Kama, Krishna, Lakshmi, Vishnu and Shakthi (Devi) (not in that order). Hindu religious practices commonly contain seeking an understanding and indulgence of God as well as and seeking for blessings from several Gods. Hinduism has instituted numerous practices that can assist one to communicate oneself with the divinity. Hinduism primary place of residence is in India.
