Good Works

First of all I ask you who read this to begin in prayer. Ask God to reveal to you His meanings in my writings. 1John 5:13 says "I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know you have eternal life." So you believe in Jesus Christ?now what? Are you content with your beliefs and possibly just going to church on Sunday, or do you want more? Are you like Abraham and have a desire to see more of God? How far is far enough for you when it comes to your walk with Christ? These are questions I want you to ask yourselves right now. Ask God what he thinks.

Quite on the contrary, I believe it is saying that God created (2cor 5:17 "If anyone is in Christ he is a new creation, the old has gone and the new has come.") us so that we would be able to do good works in His name. This is where those questions in the first paragraph come in. Are you willing to have a deeper relationship with Christ? Even if it means losing
the things of this world? John 15:7 says "Whoever has My ...
