Executive Summary
Hazing at a high school girl’s football game has created a need for action. Feminists think that they girls should be treated just like boys who had done the same type of thing. Whereas the traditionalist are appalled at the girl’s behavior because they believe girls should always be feminine. The last groups are those seeking justice and the abolishment of school hazing.
Legal Issues
Equality is the major legal issue. Young women are not treated the same as young men. There is a perceived acceptance of young men behaving aggressively and acting out; whereas young women are still placed in a traditional role of being good and lady like at all times. This is in direct opposition to the equal rights amendment.
***Managerial Perspective***
In the workplace men and women are often forced into their traditional roles. It is often heard “if I were a man” this or that would not have happened. The fact is this is true. Men are allowed to say and do things that women are not allowed to do. If women act in an aggressive manner they are called names.
