Generation In The Workforce

Group Introduction
    There are many different types of people that make up the workforce in today's society. A factor that plays a large part in the diversity of these people is their age. As of right now, there are four different generations in our workforce. As a members of  the Human Resource staff, we will be presenting different ways and suggestions to meet the needs of all generations in today's workforce. In our presentation, we will be discussing many different thought and ideas, the implementation of these ideas, as well as how to evaluate these ideas for effectiveness.

    Common for each generation, the expectations and influences that a particular generation has, impacts the workforce differently in some ways because of their own unique life experiences and backgrounds. What I find interesting about the Nexters is that they grew up during considerably prosperous times, yet  now entering a “post-boom” economy. It has been said, that Nexters are perhaps among the most open-minded, well-informed, socially adept, and technological savvy generation to come. Several observations have been made about Generation Next; observations such as their achievements, optimism, pessimism,  civic duties, confidence, etc. Because of the sheer size of Generation Next, I believe they will have major impact on the workforce in the United States. In addition to the workforce, I believe the cultural influence for Generation Next will be even greater than Xers and Baby Boomers.
