Ge Energy

Organizational Culture

GE Energy has a culture based around performance, integrity, and commitment to their shareholders, employees, customers and suppliers.  GE Energy publicly states that their main mission is to maintain its position as the number one provider of high-technology power generation equipment and services.  To do this, GE Energy strives to keep every commitment it makes to its stakeholders.

GE's President and CEO, John Krenicki, continually states in his public appearances and writings that GE is dedicated to fair honest dealings, integrity, social performance, environmental health and safety, continuous quality improvements and innovation.  Furthermore, Krenicki has communicated policies and initiatives intended to specifically create a culture where every employee is responsible for meeting every promise that the company has made to its stakeholders.  Krenicki has also publicly communicated to all employees and the world that the company is dedicated to behaving ethically and legally.  GE Energy sees itself as a leader in the industry and is dedicated to leading by example.  Compliance is first and foremost, but every employee is to constantly be sure that he or she is behaving in an ethical manner.

As with the parent company, GE Energy is dedicated to the communities in which they operate.  A portion of the revenues generated for the parent company by GE Energy are used to helping people from many regions and backgrounds through the GE Foundation which provides direct assistance and grants to non-profit organizations.  The company also encourages employees to donate both money and time to their communities by matching monetary gifts and organizing volunteer opportunities....
